Program Overview

The Talent Transfer Initiative is a focused and highly selective initiative that recognizes teachers with a track record of contributing to gains in student achievement and offers them the opportunity to take on a new challenge - using their skills in schools where children are struggling academically, where top teachers are most needed and can have the most profound impact. Teachers who are selected by a participating school's principal and choose to transfer to the school will be eligible to receive $20,000 over a two-year period to compensate them for this transition.
