IMPORTANT SECTIONS OF A RESUME
- Objective
Summarize the type of position for which you are looking.
- Education, Honors and Certification
List your undergraduate and graduate (if applicable) degrees, as well as any honors received. Also list the licenses and state certification that you hold.
- Key Qualifications (optional - but recommended)
Highlight unique strengths, skills and areas of knowledge relevant to the position that you seek.
- Teaching Experience
Detail your previous teaching experience along with key accomplishments.
- Additional Relevant Experience
Provide information on relevant non-teaching positions that you have held, if applicable.
- Professional Affiliations
List any relevant organizations of which you are a member or with which you are affiliated.

BEFORE YOU SUBMIT
- Proofread for typos, grammatical errors and punctuation.
- Check for consistency in the formatting of dates, punctuation and text.
- Double-check your contact information for accuracy.
- Click "Print Preview" to see what your resume will look like once it is printed.
- Click "Save As" to save your resume where you can find it again (example: My Documents folder) and to rename it (example: FirstName.LastName.Resume.doc).
- Close the file before you upload it to the application.
